The Family Health Team wants to help to insure that children are safe, healthy and happy.  According to the Rourke Baby Record and the Canadian Pediatric Society, the Family Health Team along with your Family Physician will start to see your baby during the first week after they are born and until they are 6 years old.   The Well Baby and Child visits will include taking the child's measurement, talking about nutrition, safety, parenting, and your child's development.  During this visit, the health care provider will do a physical check-up and provide any needed immunizations.  These visits are a great time to learn how your child is doing and what you can do to keep them safe and healthy.
